Texas is known for outstanding hospitality.  So is Texas Kitchen 1836. We can host your private dining event or professional meeting at 1836.  While we do not accept reservations for day to day dining, however, you can call to make arrangements to dine in our exclusively private dining room, and treat your guests to a unique and classy dining experience, while enjoying fine Texas hospitality.

Steele Room:  Fine dining in a private, unique atmosphere!  Seats 20, $150.00 room reservation plus $600.00 total in food and beverage. Maximum 2 hours reservation, with additional hours added, as desired.   For evening dining, the first seating begins at 6:00p.m. or earlier, and second seating begins at 8:00p.m.  Hours can be amended with additional room reservation fee.  Reservations are made by phone call only.

Balcony Room:  With an upstairs luminated view over the top of 1836, your party of up to 40 people can enjoy time dining together!  Maximum 2 hour reservation, with additional hours, as desired.  Minimum $1,200.00 food and beverage total required. Reservations can be made by phone call only.

Dobbs Downstairs:  Just below our Balcony room with easy access to the front door, and just steps away from the bar, this private nook seats 38 people.  Maximum 2 hour reservation, with additional hours, as desired.  Minimum $1,200.00 food and beverage total required.  Reservations can be made by phone call only.
